Top Metrics
There are five metrics at the top of the page for a quick overview. Learn more about Analytics terminology in the Analytics Glossary.
| Total Views | Visitors | Clicks | Avg. Time on Page | Bounce Rate |
| This metric displays the total number of page views within the selected timeframe. |
The Unique Visitors metric displays the number of individual users who accessed the page within the selected timeframe. The Returning Visitors metric displays the number of users who have come back to the page within the selected timeframe. |
The Unique Metric displays the number of users who clicked a link at least once. The Total Clicks metric displays the number of times links were clicked in total. |
This metric displays the average amount of time users spent on the page. | This metric displays the percentage of users who left the page in under 3 seconds after opening. |
|
The label underneath Total Views and Bounce Rate indicates either a positive or negative change in the metric over the last month. For example, if the total views dropped from 100 last month to 50 this month, it would display a 50% decrease, indicating a downward trend. Hovering over the label provides additional information about the metric compared to the last timeframe. | ||||
Metrics
In the individual page analytics, there are four metrics with detailed analytics.
Total Activity Over Time Graph
The Total Activity Over Time line graph shows the activity of the page over a period of time. It displays the following metrics:
- Views
- Unique Visitors
- Total Clicks
A flyout opens when you hover over a data point in the timeline. The flyout includes:
- Exact numerical values for views, unique visitors, or total clicks at that time point
- Exact time and date of the highest activity
Deselecting an Activity Metric
- In the Studio, navigate to Analytics > Pages > Page List > an individual page.
- Navigate to the Total Activity Over Time graph.
-
Click on the checkbox next to the metric you want to hide in the graph.
The metric is removed and no longer displays in the graph.
Views By User Group Table
The Views By User Group table allows you to identify visibility based on user groups who visited the page. By viewing the user groups, you can identify high and low engagement segments. You can open the dropdown menu at the top of the table to sort the visibility by the highest or lowest rate. Hover over a line in the table to see the exact number of users who viewed at least one news post. Group Admins & up can click on the Group title to navigate to the Group in the Studio Settings.
Where Visitors Came From Table
The Where Visitors Came From table displays whether users arrived at the individual page from the menu, search, or another page. The percentages next to the different options indicate the distribution of users arriving through these methods. You can hover over the navigation lines to see the number of users by desktop or mobile.
Time on Page by Visitors Table
The Time on Page by Visitors table provides a breakdown of how long users spend on the page. It gives a broad overview, ranging from quick bounces to highly engaged sessions. It shows the exact number of visitors who stayed for less than one minute to more than 6 minutes. You can hover over the line to see the exact number of visitors.
Clicks by Element Table
This table shows which elements on the page users clicked on the most. It helps identify popular links, buttons, or sections. You can hover over each row to view exact counts. This is useful for improving UX and optimizing content layout.
