You can add a personal touch to your journeys with the Personalization widget. Insert smart fields, such as first name, position, or office location, which automatically pull data from a user’s profile. This makes every journey step feel custom-tailored to the individual.
All standard and custom profile fields set up by your organization are available, offering nearly limitless options for personalization.
- In the Studio, navigate to Content > Journeys > the journey step you would like to personalize.
Click Edit.
The journey step content editor opens.
- In the editor, place the cursor where you would like to add personalization.
In the editor toolbar, click the plus icon for Add widget.
The Add Widget dialog opens.
Select the Personalization widget.
The Add Personalized Information dialog opens.
Select the personalized information you would like to add.
Click OK.
The personalized information is added.You can only select one piece of information at a time. Repeat steps 3 to 7 to add more personalized information.
- Click Save.
You have added personalization to a journey step. When a user views the journey step, the personalization placeholder displays data from the respective profile.
