When creating a new journey, that is similar to an already existing one, duplicating can save a lot of time and effort. By duplicating, the content of the existing journey is reused. This way, you can even create your own journey templates.
The following are the two ways to duplicate a journey:
Duplicating a Journey by Adding One
- In the Studio, navigate to Content > Journeys.
- Click Add Journey.
The Add a Journey dialog opens.
- Provide a name for the journey.
- Choose a space to which you want to add the journey. Once the journey is duplicated, it opens in your chosen space.
- Select contributors to assist you in adding, updating, or deleting journey steps.
- Select the checkbox Copy steps from another Journey.
The Add a Journey dialog expands by an additional field. - Click Choose a Journey.

- Click Add Journey.
The duplicated journey opens.
You have successfully duplicated a journey, including all its steps. To activate the journey, you need to set a starting point.
Duplicating a Journey by Copying Journey Steps
- In the Studio, navigate to Content > Journeys.
- Select the journey you want to duplicate.
- Click Copy Steps.
The Copy Journey Steps dialog opens.
- Provide a name for the journey.
- Choose a space to which you want to add the journey. Once the journey is duplicated, it opens in your chosen space.
- Select contributors to assist you in adding, updating, or deleting journey steps.
- Click Copy Steps.
The duplicated journey opens.
You have successfully duplicated a journey, including all its steps. To activate the journey, you need to set a starting point.
