In Staffbase Email, user groups enable precise email targeting, ensuring messages reach the right audience every time.
You can segment your employees based on their profile field information, such as location, department, or any other profile fields. Once a group is set up, new employees are automatically assigned if their profile fields match the group's conditions. Similarly, existing employees are automatically added or removed when their profile fields change to align with or differ from the group’s criteria. This ensures that your targeting remains accurate and up to date.
The audience for a folder or email can include several groups as well as individual recipients.

In the summary page under Target Audience, groups are displayed with the icon and show the number of group members when you hover over them with the mouse. Individual users are displayed with their icons and names. If the corresponding profile fields are set up, individual users can also be identified by their department and user role.
