The alt text feature enables editors to add alternative text to images in News Posts and Pages. Screen readers can then use this text to help visually impaired users understand these images. Alt text is also useful with a weak internet connection where images cannot load. The alt text is then displayed in its place. Alt text creates a more accessible, efficient, and equitable work environment for all your employees. Learn more about best practices for using alt text.

You have added an alt text to the image. If you click on the image, a green checkmark indicates that an alt text has been added. You can hover over it to read the alt text.
If your news post or page is available in multiple languages, remember to provide alt text for each language instance.
- Click Save.
You have added the alt text for an image. You can come back and edit the alt text at any time.
