Adjusting the Timeframe in Strategic Planning
Easily adjust the Strategic Planning timeline to view your campaigns and news posts in different timeframes. Switching between the available options allows for flexible planning.
The timeframe options in Strategic Planning are:
- Monthly: Provides a breakdown of campaigns and assigned news posts for short-term planning, perfect for tracking weekly campaign progress
- Quarterly: Offers a broad overview of goals over a three-month period, ideal for mid-range planning
- Yearly: Gives a high-level perspective, allowing for long-term strategic planning across the entire year
By default, the Strategic Planning timeframe is set to quarterly.

In the Studio, navigate to Planning > Strategic Planning.
- Navigate to the Quarterly dropdown.
- Select Monthly or Yearly.
The updated view displays. - Optionally, click the arrow to display the previous or next timeframe.
You have adjusted the timeframe in the Strategic Planning timeline. You can switch to another view at any time.
Viewing News Posts Assigned to Campaigns
By default, the Strategic Planning timeline only displays campaigns. To view the news posts assigned to each campaign, expand the campaign titles.

In the Studio, navigate to Planning > Strategic Planning.

Navigate to the column with campaign titles.

Click the arrow next to the campaign title.
The arrow only displays next to campaigns with assigned posts.
The view expands to display the news posts assigned to the campaign.
You have expanded the Strategic Planning view to display assigned news posts. You can collapse the view by clicking next to the campaign title at any time.
Navigating to a News Post

In the Studio, navigate to Planning > Strategic Planning.

Navigate to the column with campaign titles.

Click the arrow next to the campaign title.

Click the news post bar.
The flyout menu opens. - Click the news post title.
The news post opens in a new tab.
You have navigated to the news post. Here, you can edit the post. Any changes are reflected in Strategic Planning after reloading.
Navigating to Campaign Details
Similar to accessing news posts from the Strategic Planning, you can also open the campaign details of displayed campaigns. This enables for an easy way to adjust details if necessary.

In the Studio, navigate to Planning > Strategic Planning.

Navigate to the campaign for which you want to view the details.

Click on the colored bar.
The flyout menu opens. - Click Open Campaign Details.
The individual campaign overview opens.
You have navigated to the campaign details. Here, you can edit the campaign. Any changes are reflected in Strategic Planning after reloading.
Creating New Campaigns in Strategic Planning
Save time and create new campaigns directly from the Strategic Planning timeline.

In the Studio, navigate to Planning > Strategic Planning.

Click Create.
The dropdown menu opens. -
Select Campaign.
The Create Campaign dialog opens.
- Fill in the fields.
- Click Save.
You have created a campaign. Depending on your applied filters, the campaign is displayed in Strategic Planning.
