The Staffbase Companion Editor supports content creators to create impactful news articles using generative AI. The Companion Editor can produce, edit, and refine news content based on a small amount of contributor input. It is available in the Staffbase Studio for Article channel types in News. Using the Companion Editor for Article channels in the Studio, contributor roles and up, can:

• Generate, edit, draft, summarize, and adjust the tone of article text
• Generate teaser text
• Generate a title

Generating Teaser Text

The Companion Editor helps you create an engaging teaser text for your news content. Once you add text in the Article Text box, the Companion Editor generates the perfect teaser text with one click.

1. In the Studio, navigate to Content > News > an Article channel.
2. Click Create Post to create a new article or Edit to open a draft article.
3. Click Generate with AI above the Teaser Text box.
   
   
   
   The AI-generated text displays below the text box for you to review.
4. Optionally, click Regenerate to create a different teaser text.
5. Click Insert this teaser.
   
   
   
   The text is inserted into the Teaser Text box.

You have generated the teaser text and inserted it. You can now finish setting up the article.
