All tasks that have been created in Communications Control are collected in the Task Management module.

The entry points for creating tasks
To create a new task, you do not necessarily have to navigate to the task management. This listing shows at which other entry points task creation is possible everywhere:

In the Kanban view of task management
Here, all you have to do is click on the blue plus button in the respective column to which the new task should be assigned. Please note that this function is unavailable with the grouping options Created by and Linked with.

In the table view of task management
To create a new task in the table view, click on the pink plus button on the right side of the page.

In the detail view of ideas, content, and topics
In the ideas, content, and topic module, it is possible to create tasks. These are directly linked to the corresponding object. Click on the task icon on the right-hand side of the page, enter your task title in the text field, and then click on the pink plus button to the right of the text field.

In the task widget of the dashboard module
In the dashboard, there is a pink plus button in the task widget, which you can use to create new tasks directly.

In the month, week, and day view of the calendar
Clicking on a date in the month, week, or day view of the calendar opens a popup in which a new task can be created.
After task creation: Information within tasks
After clicking on the respective button to create a new task, you will be taken to a setup mask where you can enter plenty of information:

*These fields must be filled in before the task can be saved. The priority is per default, prefilled with Medium. Likewise, the task status when creating tasks is Open by default. Existing task statuses can be managed, and new statuses can be added using the gear symbol to the right of the field.
Once you have entered all the information, click the Save button. After that, the new task appears in the task management module, in the list under the task icon in the blue bar, and in the task widget of the dashboard module.
If you have assigned the task to another user, he/she will receive a notification. The prerequisite for this is that they have activated the corresponding notifications.
In addition, reminders are sent for tasks that are due soon, assuming the corresponding notifications are activated.
