In the kanban view of tasks, you can group tasks by various options.
Definition Kanban: Kanban is a method for the illustration and visualization of workflows. Each column represents a process phase. When you have a new task, it is placed on the Kanban board, from where it moves through the columns. Each Kanban view is divided into three basic sections that indicate the status of your tasks: Open, In Progress, Completed. As many subsections as needed can be created for detailed process mapping.
In Communications Control, you have the possibility to create your own kanban boards. Proceed as follows:
-
Open the Kanban view of tasks.
-
Click on the grouping icon.
-
Click on the button Create new view at the end of the list.
-
Give the view a title and select the save location (My views vs. Shared views).
-
Click on Save. Afterward, a new board opens with only one bucket containing all tasks.
-
Click on Add new bucket, assign a title, and optionally a color. Repeat this step until the board contains all desired buckets.
-
Click on the three-point menu to the right of the bucket header to change its position, edit, or delete it.
-
Once you have created and positioned all buckets correctly, you can drag and drop the tasks from the automatically generated untitled bucket (left) into the new buckets.
You can access your newly created Kanban board by clicking on the group icon under My views or Shared views - depending on who you saved it for.
