Testing open and click tracking is a great way to make sure Employee Email is set up correctly. Here is some information on testing tracking so you know what to expect.
- Track your Email using the option that is part of your sending workflow.
To test click tracking, be sure to include at least one link in the message that you send.
- Open the test email from the inbox where it was received, and click any links included in the message.
Occasionally, email programs will block images by default. Displaying images is a critical part of how we determine an open.
To ensure your test open is counted, click Display images or an equivalent option in your email client so that the tracking pixel is displayed in the message. - In your browser, view details about the test email that you sent to check how your tracked open(s) and click(s) appear.
Staffbase recommends waiting at least half an hour for Employee Email to register your tracked activity.
