The New UX and Branding modernizes the Staffbase App and Intranet interface design and adds expanded self-service branding options to your platform. Once an Administrator begins the activation process, they can select specific users and user groups to preview and test the updated changes before rolling it out to all users. This process gives your organization complete control over when employees see the new on-brand experience.

Improvements
The New UX updates the design and expands the self-service branding and theming settings that administrators previously configured only through custom CSS. New sections of the Branding page allow administrators to further customize the navigation, footer, and other areas of the platform. They can further customize button styling, link styling, typography, and container styling, including shadows and corner radius, without writing custom code.
Feature |
Includes |
| Navigation | Floating or Full Width Intranet |
| Footer | Appearance, Links, Copyright, and Social Media |
| Content Branding | Typography, Buttons, Links, Content Containers, and Custom Fonts |
| Updated Design | AI Podcast, Navigator, News, My Groups, Public Area, Bookmarks, Employee Directory, Settings, Search Result Page, and Login. These features are styled through the branding settings and Custom CSS for the New UX. |
The Profile Page, Communities, Task Management, Chat, Staffbase Live, Hashtags, Journeys, and News Articles continue to be styled through the branding settings and Custom CSS for the Classic UX.
Activating the New UX
Administrators can activate the New UX directly from the Dashboard in the Studio. Once started, the organization's existing customizations and branding settings are automatically brought into the new settings. They can then preview how the App and Intranet will look and activate the New UX for specific users or user groups. For those not selected, they will continue to see the existing UX and design. From then, you can roll it out on your timeline to all users.
