First thing to check: 

If you cannot see the switch Visibility in public area you probably do not have a fully branded app—yet. For example, the app we show you during the sales demo is not fully branded. 

All customers get their fully branded app set up by their Customer Success Manager. Once setup is completed, you will only work inside your own branded app. If you have any questions feel free to contact Staffbase Support or your Customer Success Manager.

If you use spaces:

It’s only possible at the moment to make news channels and pages publicly available from the default space (all employees).
