Connect Staffbase with Cornerstone OnDemand to bring learning directly into your Employee App or Intranet. After completing the setup in Cornerstone, you can configure the connection in Staffbase Studio using your OAuth credentials and deep link settings. This allows employees to view assigned and recommended courses, track progress, and launch training seamlessly while Cornerstone remains the system of record.
Prerequisites
- You have added the plugin to Staffbase.
- You have completed the OAuth application setup in API Management in Cornerstone and collected the following information:
- Client ID
- Client Secret
- You have a profile field selected that matches users in Cornerstone for user mapping.

In the Studio, navigate to Settings > Learning Integrations.

Click Add Integration.
The Add Cornerstone Learning Integration page opens. - In Base URL, enter the base URL of your Cornerstone environment. Example: https://yourcompany.csod.com
- In Client ID, enter the OAuth client ID generated in Cornerstone when registering the OAuth 2.0 application.
- In Client Secret, enter the OAuth client secret generated together with the client ID in Cornerstone.

In User Mapping, select the Staffbase profile field that contains the value that matches the unique user identifier (User ID) in Cornerstone.
If you don’t have the matching Staffbase profile field, you will need to create one for the mapping.
- Click Create to save the connection.
Once you complete the integration, the related features of the HR service are activated by default. You can deactivate them at any time.
