News allows audience-specific publishing of dynamic content in the Staffbase App and Intranet. It is organized into a three-layered system of news page, channel, and post. In the channel settings, you can give a user or user group content-specific rights. This allows them to create and edit content within the channel. You can configure authors and editors for a channel in the channel settings. All posts in a channel have the same authors and editors.
An editor is a higher role that can create, edit, and manage all posts within a channel. A contributor (author) can create and edit their own content. This role does not allow editing or deleting posts from other contributors.
