The Common Settings section is available for plugins within the Staffbase platform, allowing you to customize each one to meet your exact requirements. After installing a plugin, you can adjust the settings behind the gear wheel icon. They can be further updated at any time. In addition to the Common Settings, each plugin also includes its own specific Plugin Settings.
Setting Options
Title
The Title is the name for the specific instance of the plugin. For example, in Surveys, this is the title of one of the surveys.
Icon
The Icon setting allows you to select icons from a dropdown or upload a custom icon. This is the icon of the plugin instance, which displays in the platform Menu.
Creator
The Creator is the original user who created the plugin instance.
Space
View the Space where the plugin instance is located.
Visibility in the App
The Visibility in the App setting allows you to decide which users are able to see the plugin instance. The dropdown options are:
- For all space users (when Spaces are activated)
- For selected space users or groups
- Not visible
When Not Visible is selected, the instance can still be accessed via direct link.
Editors
The Editors setting allows you to select specific users or user groups allowed to edit the plugin instance. Learn more about plugin editors.
Show in Menu on
The Show in Menu on setting allows you to specify on which menu the plugin instance should be visible, if any. Learn more about setting menu item visibility.
Breadcrumbs Setting
The Breadcrumbs settings allows you to manage the visibility of menu items in the breadcrumb navigation of the Employee App or Intranet. Learn more about breadcrumb navigation.
