The Q&A plugin is a Staffbase Employee Experience (EX) Booster Plugin.
It transforms your Employee App or Intranet into an interactive knowledge hub where questions can be asked, answered, and easily found.
Prerequisites
- You have created an API token with read-only access.
- You have sent the API token to support@staffbase.com.
The API token is needed to access user profile information through the User API. The API token allows the plugin to access user profile information, like profile pictures and permissions. This ensures that only authorized users can post questions and that others are notified when new questions are shared.
- In the Studio, navigate to the Content > Content Menu.
- Scroll to the bottom of the menu and click Add Plugin.
The Plugin page opens. - Navigate to Q&A.
- Click Install.
The Add Q&A dialog opens.
- Provide a Title for the Q&A page.
You can change the title anytime in the plugin settings. - From the Visibility dropdown menu, choose which users should see the Q&A page.
- Click Add Q&A.
You have installed the Q&A plugin and added a Q&A page. The plugin is now displayed in the content section on the left. You can now configure and publish the page to make it visible to your users.
