In the Events module, you can create events for any occasion, even when they take place in a more complex recurrence rhythm.
Setting the recurrence rhythm of events
-
Open an existing event or create a new one. Then, click the Repeat field. Select the appropriate option from the dropdown menu. You can choose between never, daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, and custom.
-
If you select any of the first five options, click the Save button. The events are displayed in the calendar and on the Events timeline according to the selected rhythm.
-
If you select the Custom option, a popup opens. Here, enter the recurrence rhythm and click the Save button. The popup closes automatically.
-
The individual repetition rhythm is displayed in the event.
-
Click the Save button in the actual event to confirm. The events are displayed according to the selected rhythm in the calendar and on the events timeline.
If you want to create events that repeat annually, but the date can still vary (for example, every year on the second Friday in May), follow these steps:
-
Follow steps 1-3 from the first tutorial.
-
Click on the Custom option.
-
In the Time frame field, select Year (also works with Month).
-
Two new fields open. In the lower area, fill in the fields according to the event. Below the recurrence end date, you will see a summary of the settings made.
If you select the option custom, the end date entered in the popup can be exchanged anytime.
