The cropping feature allows you to remove unselected surroundings of an image. It comes with a crop tool, which can be dragged to a position and resized. This feature is available for featured images of the following types of posts:
- In the Experience Studio, navigate to a post to edit its main image.
- Click Edit.
The edit page opens.
- Click Edit image detail.
The Edit image detail dialog opens.
- Drag the crop tool and position it to the part of the image you want to include in the final image.
The crop tool is set to a fixed aspect ratio by default. This fixed aspect ratio is already in the recommended aspect ratio for the image.
- Optionally, disable the toggle Fixed aspect ratio to change the fixed aspect ratio of the crop tool.
If you select another aspect ratio, a blurry background is displayed on the right and left sides.
- Click Save.
