Are the widgets only available in Pages or also in other plugins?
The widgets are currently available only in Pages.
Why is my widget for payslips or absences showing no data or an error?
A common reason is incorrect or missing user mapping.
Staffbase supports mapping using:
- Work email
- Personal email
- Remote ID
Possible causes
- The selected identifier does not match between systems
- The identifier field is missing or not populated
- The integration was configured before user data was set up
- Permissions do not allow access to the identifier
How to resolve
- Verify that all users have the selected identifier
- Ensure the identifier matches exactly in both systems
- Change mapping → Save → Switch back → Save again
How often does Staffbase sync data from integrated services?
The sync interval depends on your integration:
- SAP SuccessFactors: Every 24 hours
- Workday: Every 24 hours
Can I trigger a manual sync if something goes wrong?
Yes. In production environments, you can use the manual resync button to trigger an immediate synchronization.
What do the different sync status messages mean?
- Synced: Integration is active and data is up to date.
- Incomplete: The connection was not properly established.
- Done: Sync is complete.
- Failed: Some or all fields could not be synced.
Can I control what is displayed in the Absence widget?

Can I customize the policy name and icons in the Absence widget?

Why don’t I see any widgets in the widget library?
Make sure that:
- An HR integration is connected.
- The widget toggle is activated under Settings > HR Integrations.
Can users interact with the data in the widget?
No. The data is read-only.
What happens if a user exists in multiple HR systems?
The system checks integrations in the order they were added. If multiple matches are found, users can manually select their preferred data source in the widget.
Can I configure multiple HR integrations?
Yes. You can configure up to three HR integrations.
What happens after I add an HR integration?
After adding the integration, the related HR features are activated by default. You can activate or deactivate specific widgets in the integration settings.
Who can add HR widgets after the integration is set up?
Once the integration is configured, editors can add the HR widgets to pages in Studio.
Can I see which data fields failed to sync?
Yes. In Studio, click the integration status to view detailed sync results, including which fields were successfully synced and which failed.
