Version history in the Content Designer for Pages lets you review and restore earlier versions of a page. This makes it easy to undo unwanted changes, recover previous content, or roll back to a known good state without manually rebuilding the page.
Only versions created when you publish or update a page are saved in version history. Restoring a version does not delete other versions, so you can switch between versions without losing history.
When browsing version history, you can change the language selector to review and restore versions for different languages.
You can restore up to the last 100 versions of a page.
- In the Studio, navigate to Content > Pages.
- Open the page you want to update.
-
From the top menu, select the three dots to open the Actions menu.
- Select Version History.
-
Select the version you want to restore.
- Click Restore.
The selected version becomes the active version in the editor. You can review the restored content before publishing or updating it to make it visible to employees.
