Tasks allows you to structure and organize work efficiently within your organization. Create projects to group related tasks and assign them to specific spaces and user groups. Projects help teams coordinate their activities, manage responsibilities, and track progress.
Prerequisite
- You have the Tasks plugin installed in your Staffbase Studio.
Creating a Project
- In the Studio, navigate to Content > Tasks.

Select Create Project.
The Add Project dialog opens. - In the Title field, enter the name of the project.

In the Space dropdown, choose where the project should display.
You can add a project to multiple spaces. - In the Visibility in the App dropdown, define who can see the project.
- Click Save.
You have now created a project. You can now configure the settings of the project.
Configuring the Settings of a Project
- In the Studio, navigate to Content > Tasks.
The Tasks overview page opens. - Navigate to the project whose settings you want to configure.
- Select the three dots to open the more options menu.
- Select Settings.

Adjust the settings based on your requirements.
All users with access to the project can view and edit lists and tasks in the Employee App, supporting flexible collaboration. This allows any team member to make updates promptly, regardless of their role. - Click Save.
You have configured the settings of a project. You will need to publish the project to make it available to your users.
Publish a Project
- In the Studio, navigate to Content > Tasks.
The Tasks overview page opens. - Navigate to the project you want to publish.
- Select the three dots to open the more options menu.
- Select Publish.
Optionally, open the settings page and click Publish after verifying all the details. The Publish project? dialog opens. - Click Publish.
You have published a project. The users of the space you assigned can start adding tasks and lists within their teams.
Unpublish a Project
- In the Studio, navigate to Content > Tasks.
The Tasks overview page opens. - Navigate to the project you want to unpublish.
- Select the three dots to open the more options menu.
- Select Unpublish.
The Unpublish project? dialog opens. - Click Unpublish.
You have unpublished the project. The users of the space you assigned will no longer see the project.
Delete a Project
- In the Studio, navigate to Content > Tasks.
The Tasks overview page opens. - Navigate to the project you want to publish.
- Select the three dots to open the more options menu.
- Select Delete.
The Delete task? dialog opens. - Click Delete.
You have deleted a project.
