Shorts are an engaging way to display video content, based on posts from a Media news channel. They bring a familiar social media-style experience to the platform. The Shorts widget for Pages allows you to display these videos in your App or Intranet, based on a Media news channel.

You can select both published and unpublished new channels from the widget. Widgets connected to unpublished news channels do not display on the page. This allows you to first create and upload multiple Shorts before setting the channel live.

Prerequisites:

• You are an editor for the Shorts Media channel.
• You are an editor for the page to which you want to add the widget.
   

1. Add the Shorts widget to a page. 
   The dialog to configure the Plugin widget opens.
2. Select on which types of devices the widget can be viewed.
3. Select for which users you want to make the widget visible under Visibility in the app.
4. Select a News Page or Media channel from the dropdown as the source of the widget content.
5. Click Save.

You have added the Shorts widget to the page. Existing videos in the media channel display automatically, or you can create a short.
