Surveys allow you to collect valuable employee insights and feedback. Using surveys, you can reach your employees, gather their feedback, improve processes, and check any changes afterward. Survey results are broken down by question and are available in real time.
Once you have created a survey, you can add the Survey block directly into the email body. You can drag and drop the block anywhere within the email. Learn more about quick blocks in Staffbase Email. Email recipients see the survey in the email and submit their feedback on a landing page once per email.
Once you have added the Survey quick block, you can select the survey you would like to include in the email from the Surveys side panel on the right. The panel only shows surveys to which you have access. Hover over a survey to see specifics about the survey, including the schedule and creator.
Every recipient receives a personalized survey link. Survey links are not active in test emails, so test clicks are not recorded.
Prerequisites
- You have created a survey.
- You have published or scheduled the survey to be published.
Adding a Survey to an Email
- In the Studio, navigate to Email.
- Navigate to the email to which you want to add a survey.

Under Quick Blocks, navigate to the Survey quick block.
- Drag and drop the Survey quick block into the body of the email.

Drag and drop a specific survey from the Surveys side panel.
The survey automatically populates the Survey quick block. - Optionally, adjust the colors and style of the survey block.
You have included the survey in your email. Users see the survey in the body of the sent email. You can remove the survey from the email before sending. Once the email is sent, it is no longer editable.
