You can set up custom quiz questions, images, or text that your users can unlock each day of the calendar. This gives users a reason to come back daily and allows them to have fun using the platform. There are two options for quiz calendars, depending on when you want to have the calendar live.
- The Christmas Calendar has a preset date range. It begins on December 1st and ends on December 24th. It is ideal for holiday-themed engagement during the Christmas season and does not require manual scheduling since the dates are fixed.
- The Custom Calendar has a customizable time frame that can begin at any time. This quiz type can run for any duration between 2 and 40 days, making it suitable for a wide range of initiatives.
The Quiz Calendar is highly customizable. You can add quiz questions, images, or text to each day of the calendar, tailoring the content to reflect your organization’s theme or communication goals. Additionally, the plugin provides settings to configure how each quiz is displayed, when results are shown, and how long each quiz remains available. How is the ranking list sorted?
Users earn 1 point for each correct answer. These points are accumulated across all daily quizzes and questions. The time taken to complete each question is also recorded. A ranking is then generated based on both the points earned and the time spent answering questions. If activated, the top 20 rankings can be displayed.
Is the ranking updated in real time?
Yes. For users, the ranking updates in real time if the setting "Show Correct Answer Immediately After Answering" is activated. Otherwise, the updated ranking will be reflected the following day. For editors, the ranking is always updated immediately upon exporting it as a CSV file.
Can I choose which days the quiz is shown?
No, you can only set up a quiz to run on consecutive days. Skipping individual days within a multi-day quiz is not supported.
When does the quiz start?
Quizzes begin at midnight, based on the configured day and time zone for each quiz. The Quiz Calendar does not automatically adjust to the user's local time zone.
