The information in this article applies when you have the Employee App or Staffbase Intranet, and when Staffbase Email is used together with the Employee App or Staffbase Intranet. If you use Staffbase Email as a standalone product, refer to Deleting a Space in Staffbase Email.
If you no longer need a space, you can delete it. After deletion, neither can the users see the content of the space in the app nor can the administrators see the space in the Studio.
You cannot delete the All employees space, which is a default space. It contains content that is available to all registered users. For example, the Employee Directory, the Chat plugin, and other company-wide content you added to the All employees space.
Deleting a Space
- In the Studio, navigate to Content > Spaces.
The Spaces page opens. - Navigate to the space you want to delete and click Delete.
The Delete Space? dialog opens.
- Click Move to Trash.
You have successfully deleted a space. You are automatically redirected to the spaces page. You can restore a deleted space within 30 days after deletion using the Trash feature.
- In the Studio, navigate to Settings > Spaces Overview.
The Spaces Overview page opens. - Navigate to the space you want to delete.
- Click the more options icon to open the options menu.
- Click Delete Space.
The Delete Space? dialog opens.
- Click Delete Space.
You have successfully deleted a space. You are automatically redirected to the Spaces Overview page.
