Create and edit tables easily and directly within your emails. Use the Email Designer to design new tables for clear data organization, or copy and paste existing tables and edit them with ease. This ensures smooth and efficient communication, enhancing your productivity and giving your emails a professional touch.
Creating a Table From Scratch
- In the Employee Email web app, open the email draft to which you want to add a table.
- Select the block in which you want to add the table.
- Under Quick Blocks, click Table.
The table block is inserted into your email draft. - Click the table block.
A menu opens.
- From the menu, select the column or row icon to add rows or columns to your table.
- Adjust the toggle to add a header row or header column.
You have created a table in your email. You can edit the table at any time.
Copying an Existing Table Into Your Email
- In the Employee Email web app, open the email draft to which you want to add a table.
- Select the block in which you want to add the table.
- Under Quick Blocks, click Table.
The table block is inserted into your email draft. - Paste the table from your clipboard into the table block.
You have copied a table into your email. You can edit the table at any time.
Custom fonts copied with the tables may not be visible in the Email Designer during editing. However, they are visible in the preview and in the sent email.
Editing a Table
After creating or copying a table into your email draft, you can edit it by adding or deleting rows or columns, merging cells, and making other modifications.
- Click on the cell, row, or column you want to edit.
A menu opens.
- From the menu, choose how you want to change the design of the table.
The customization shows directly in the Email Designer. - Optionally, in a cell, click on the text to edit or delete it.
Staffbase does not recommend adding any non-text elements, such as images, in tables.
You have edited the table's design and content and are now ready to preview, send, or schedule your email.
