Allow your users to listen to podcasts, music, or any audio files directly on a page or inside a news article. Include the audio file into your desired content using My Files, direct upload, or drag and drop, and let your users listen to content in their Employee App and Front Door Intranet. You can then reposition the audio file within the article or page at any time by dragging and dropping it.

Audio files can be used in both the Front Door Intranet and Employee App. In the Intranet, your employees can listen to and download the audio. In the app, users have the Mobile Podcast Player to listen on the go with flexibility. Learn more.

Adding an Audio File
You can easily add an audio file into a news article or page. Files always upload into the text box where your cursor is placed. Make sure the title of the audio file is accurate as it is shown in the content and on the Mobile Podcast Player. See How the Audio Player Looks for Users below.
- In a news article or page, navigate to the content editor.
- Drag and drop the audio file into the text box.
- Click Save.
- In a news article or page, navigate to the content editor.
- Click the media icon to open the media dropdown.
- Select Upload from Computer.
Your device’s upload dialog opens. - Select and upload the audio file.
- Click Save.
- In a news article or page, navigate to the content editor.
- Click the media icon to open the media dropdown.
- Select My Files.
The My Files dialog opens. - Select the audio file you want to upload.
- Click Add Files.
- Click Save.
You have uploaded an audio file into a news article or page. You can delete the file at any time, or reposition it by dragging and dropping. If the article or page is already published, the updates are visible automatically.
Repositioning an Audio File
Once you have added an audio file to a news article or page, you can drag and drop the file to change its position inside of the content.
- Navigate to the news article or page to which you added an audio file that you want to move.
- Select and hold the audio file and move it where you want to place it inside of the content.
- Click Save.
You have updated the position of the audio file within the content. If the article or page is already published, the updates are visible automatically.
Editing the Metadata of an Audio File
You can edit the title and URL of an audio file.
- Navigate to the news article or page to which you added an audio file that you want to edit.
- Click the audio file.
The edit and delete icons display. - Click the pencil icon to edit.
The Add/Edit Attachment dialog opens. - Adjust the URL or title.
- Click Add.
- Click Save.
You have edited the audio file within the content. The updates are reflected immediately. You can edit the file again at any time.
Deleting an Audio File
Easily delete an audio file from content when it is no longer needed.
- Navigate to the news article or page to which you added an audio file that you want to delete.
- Click the audio file.
The edit and delete icons display. - Select the trash icon.
The audio file is deleted. - Click Save.
You have deleted an audio file from the content. You can add an audio file again at any time. If the article or page is already published, the update is visible immediately.
