Content teams can draft news articles that can then be published on behalf of another user. This can be particularly useful for publishing company-wide news on behalf of department heads or the CEO.

Prerequisites

• The person you want to set as the author must be an editor for the channel you are posting in.

Changing the Author of a Post

1. In the Studio, navigate to Content > News. 
2. Open the news post you want to change the author of.
   The news editor opens.
3. In the side menu under Options > Publish as, select the user you want to set as the author from the dropdown menu.
   
   
4. Click Save. 

You have changed the author of the post. Other editors, who do not have system-wide access cannot change the author but can always see which author they’re writing on behalf of.
