API tokens are unique identifiers that allow third-party services to securely allow communication to an application or system. For third-party services to establish communication with the Staffbase platform, you can create API tokens in the Studio and then use them to request access to the Staffbase platform. These tokens are used frequently in integration scenarios, where you need to establish communication between the Staffbase platform and third-party applications or systems. API tokens can be generated with different levels of access permissions.
Learn about the required access level for your specific scenario before generating an API token.
