News allows audience-specific publishing of dynamic content in the Staffbase App and Intranet. It streamlines content and delivers it to employees in easy-to-consume formats. You can create and publish news posts within a channel. The appearance of the content format varies depending on the channel type. In this article, a post is created within the update channel type.

1. In the Studio, navigate to Content > News > the update channel in which you want to add a post.
2. Click Create Post.
   The Create Update page opens.
3. Provide the text description.
4. Optionally, add media or attachments.
5. Click Save draft.
6. Optionally, click Preview to see how the post will look to your users.
7. Optionally, add the content in another language.

You have created a draft post. You must first publish it, in order to make it visible to your users.
