News allows audience-specific publishing of dynamic content in the Staffbase App and Intranet. It is organized into a three-layered system of news page, channel, and post.
In a news channel, managing editors set default setting for all newly created news posts. In each post, you can individually customize the activated settings. This allows you to tailor the publication and further options to each post.
- Push Notification
Users receive push notifications directly to their Employee App on their mobile device.
- Email Notification
Users receive email notifications to the email linked with their App or Intranet user account.
Users can adjust their publication notification settings in their personal settings. If push notifications are active for a post, but the user has deactivated them for their account, they will not receive the notification.
Configuring Push Notifications
- In the Studio, navigate to Content > News.
- Click Edit next to the post for which you want to set up notifications.
The edit page opens. - Under Publication, adjust the toggle for Push.
- Click Save.
Configuring Email Notifications
- In the Studio, navigate to Content > News.
- Click Edit next to the post for which you want to set up notifications.

- Click Save.
