News allows audience-specific publishing of dynamic content in the Staffbase App and Intranet. It is organized into a three-layered system of news page, channel, and post. There are article, update, and media news channel types. For article channels, you can choose between three different layouts to display articles in the news feed. Each layout supports different use cases.

Enhanced The enhanced news feed layout shows the main article images in large format. This gives each article instant appeal and draws users to the individual posts.

Standard The standard news feed layout shows the latest article image in large format and all the other previous articles in a compact mode. This layout is suitable when you want to give the latest post priority.

Compact The compact news feed layout lists all the articles in the news feed in compact mode. It gives equal attention to all the posts within the feed.

Select the Layout of Articles

1. In the Studio, navigate Content > News.
2. Open the article channel for which you want to set the 
3. Click the gear wheel to open the settings.
   The Settings page opens.
4. Navigate to Layout.
5. Select a layout option.
6. Click Save.

You have selected the layout of article posts within the news feed. You can update the setting at any time.
