News allows audience-specific publishing of dynamic content in the Staffbase App and Intranet. Acknowledgements for news posts ask employees to confirm that they’ve read a specific news post, making it ideal for mandatory or security-relevant updates. 

Acknowledgments are available for all news channel types. When activated in the Options section of a specific post, it is clearly marked with a To Acknowledge badge so readers instantly know that action is required. In the post, employees click an Acknowledge as Read button, which is recorded. 

Adding Acknowledgement to a Post

1. In the Studio, navigate to Content > News.
2. Navigate to the news channel and post for which you want to add acknowledgements.
3.  Under Options, activate the Acknowledging toggle.
   
4. Click Save Draft or Save.

You have added acknowledgements to the post. 

Export Acknowledgements CSV

In the Post Statistics, you can view the number of acknowledgements and export a CSV list of users who acknowledged.

1. In the Studio, navigate to Content > News.
2. Navigate to the news channel and post for which you want to download the acknowledgements. 
3. Click the three dots next to the post to open the action menu. 
4. Click Statistics.
   The Post Statistics open.
   
5. Under Acknowledgments, click Download CSV file.
   The CSV file downloads automatically.

You have now exported the acknowledgements as a CSV file.
