Blocking approvals are configured per news channel. Once activated for a specific channel, all posts in that channel must be approved before they can be published.

1. In the Studio, navigate to the Content > News > the news channel for which you want to activate blocking approvals. 
2. Click the gear icon to open the settings. 

3. Under Publishing Settings, click Set Blocking Approvals.

   
   
   The Approvals Settings page opens.
4. Under Publishing Settings, enable the toggle for Approval Required.
   
5. In the Approvers dropdown, select users or user groups who are allowed to approve posts.
   

   Approvers do not need full Studio access. They only need to be added as Studio users with a valid email address.

6. Click Save.

You have successfully activated blocking approvals for all posts within a specific channel. From now on, approval is required for all posts in this channel that have not yet been published.
