Maintaining control over published posts is essential for compliance and quality assurance. Blocking Approvals provides a structured workflow that ensures content cannot be published without explicit approval from designated reviewers. This process helps your organization enforce standards, prevent unauthorized publishing, and maintain consistency across its content.
Once activated, content creators with access to the Studio must request approvals for their posts. The approvers receive a link to the post via email. Depending on if they have full access to the Studio, they are taken to the post in the Studio or a view-only page in the platform.
Blocking approvals are configured per channel. Once blocking approvals have been activated for a specific channel, all posts in that channel must be approved before they can be published.
Benefits of Blocking Approvals
Enhances Transparency and Accessibility
Track approval status, deadlines, and assigned approvers at a glance. Enable approvers without full Studio access, such as Legal or Finance to approve or reject posts.
Explanation of Approval Statuses
Approval statuses help you track the current state of posts submitted for approval. Each status is assigned automatically based on requester’s or approver’s action.
