The Confluence integration with Staffbase makes it easier than ever to find content across platforms. With this integration for Front Door Intranet, you can search not only content that lives in the Staffbase platform but also access your Confluence content.
Add the Confluence connection to let your users search for and access Confluence content from the Staffbase platform.
Prerequisites
You or an Atlassian admin have generated the following in the Atlassian Developer Console:
- An endpoint for Staffbase to access Atlassian instance
- Client ID
- Client Secret
- In the Studio, navigate to Settings > Third Party Connections.
- Under Atlassian, click Add.
The dialog to add a connection to Atlassian opens.
- Fill in the following fields with information you generated in Atlassian.
- Instance Name
- Client ID
- Client SecretThe instance name is the name in front of atlassian.net. If there is no name in front of atlassian.net, use “app” as the instance name.
- Select the visibility for the Atlassian integration from the dropdown menu.
- Click Add.
You have successfully connected Atlassian to Staffbase. The connection does not give access to Confluence content yet. You need to enable Confluence Search in the Studio to make it available to users.
