Creating Multi-Language Content For News and Pages

Providing Content in Several Languages

Creating content in multiple languages is only possible if this has been configured for your organization. If you require this option, contact your administrator. When adding multi-language content to a page or news post, you have the option to copy existing content from another language and automatically translate this content into the added language using a machine translator.

Adding Multi-Language Content For Manual Translation

  1. In the Studio, navigate to the news post or page to which you want to add a language.  
  2. Click the + button.
  3. Select a language from the dropdown menu.
    The dropdown menu contains all the languages that are enabled for your organization. If you need additional languages an administrator can enable them.

  4. Optionally, enable the toggle Copy Existing Contents to copy existing page contents from another language.
  5. Click OK. 
    The tab for the new language is displayed.  

Adding Multi-Language Content For Automatic Translation

 
Activation
  1. In the Studio, navigate to the news post or page to which you want to add a language.
  2. Click the + button.

  3. Select a language from the dropdown menu.
    The dropdown menu contains all the languages that are enabled for your organization. If you need additional languages an administrator can enable them.

  4. Enable the toggle Copy Existing Contents. 
  5. Enable the toggle Automatically Translate Contents.
    We recommend always proofreading machine-translated content, to ensure that there have been no errors in translation.

  6. From the Copy Content From dropdown menu, select the language from which contents should be copied.
  7. Click OK.
    The tab for the new language is displayed.

Providing the Name in the Menu in Multiple Languages

  1. Edit an existing news post, page, or plugin. 
  2. Click on the gear wheel for the settings.  
  3. Open the dropdown menu for the field title.

  4. Click Add. 
  5. Select the content language. 
    The dropdown menu contains all content languages that have been enabled for your app. If you need additional languages, ask your administrator to enable them.
  6. Click OK.
  7. In the now empty title field, enter the title in the new language. 
    The title is used as name in the menu.  
  8. Click Save.
