Staffbase is migrating all customers on our German hosting infrastructure to a new data center in Germany to improve the scalability, reliability, and security of the Staffbase product and services.
Our current German hosting structure SysEleven GmbH will be fully replaced by Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd. Once all data is migrated, we will remove SysEleven from our Sub-Processor List.
If your organization is affected by the change and has questions, contact your Customer Success Manager or our Support Team (email@example.com).
Is your organization affected by this change?
Staffbase has already reached out to all customers on our German hosting infrastructure and informed them about the change directly. If you didn’t receive an email, you’re likely not affected.
In case of questions, reach out to your Customer Success Manager or our Support Team (firstname.lastname@example.org).
When will the hosting infrastructure migration happen?
On April 15, Staffbase will start to roll out the services of Microsoft Azure, provided by Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd, an ISO 27001 certified cloud-hosting provider located in the European Union (Ireland). We will migrate all customer data away from SysEleven to Microsoft Azure in the coming months. For a limited period of time, we will use both SysEleven GmbH and Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd. as EU hosting providers.
Where will the data be stored in the future?
Customer data processed by Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd will be hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany).
What do you need to do?
Let Staffbase know if your organization approves of using Microsoft Azure.
If your organization requires written approval according to your organization’s respective data protection agreement with Staffbase, we kindly ask you to send written confirmation to our Support Team (email@example.com) by March 14th, 2022.
If Staffbase does not receive an objection to our use of Microsoft Azure by March 14th, 2022, we will consider this your formal authorization of our use of Microsoft Azure.
