The Directory plugin allows you to create a directory of all active and pending users in your employee app. Using the Directory plugin, employees can access coworker's contact details, such as their phone number, email, or company role, if filled out in the user profile. In addition, users can also see a list of the most recent comments by the respective coworker. The Directory plugin is a simple solution that allows users to find the information they need for their work quickly, easily, and proactively from any device. Install the Directory plugin for more employee connectivity.
Installing the Directory Plugin
- In the Studio, select Content and navigate to the Content Menu.
- Scroll to the bottom of the menu and click Add plugin.
- Navigate to Directory and click Install.
The dialog to add a directory opens. - Provide a title for your directory.
- Set the visibility from the dropdown menu.
Making the Directory Plugin visible to users also gives them access to the Users tab in the general search. You can adjust the visibility in the Directory plugin settings.
- Click Add directory.
You have added the Directory plugin. To make the directory visible to users, you must first publish it.
Publishing a Directory
- In the Studio, navigate to Directory.
- Click Publish directory.
